Finally after many weeks of tweaking and refining we have completed our unique carbon real light surround with carbon undertray and number plate holder !
This seat surround would look great with our other carbon items (rear seat panels and rear seat cowl) however it looks just as good with the standard panels - it's your choice ! It's a classy way of tidying up the rear end ! You can chose to retain the reflector (see picture above) or to mount the numberplate light in the reflectors's position to get your number plate even higher up.
The number plate holder is attached via three bolts - it can easily and quickly be removed for track days.
The Street Triple is somewhat exposed on the underside especially without a hugger - fitting one of these along with our carbon hugger pretty much eliminates the possibility of water and dirt ingress from underneath.
There is no provision for indicators because most people will fit an integrated LED tail light unit (available on this site) - however if you do wish to fit indicators you can choose a number of positions and simply need to drill two small holes when you have decided - carbon is very easy to drill and trim.
This is the ultimate tidy up for your rear end !
Fitting with Rear Passenger Footrest
Whilst the seat surround/undertray is designed for use without footrest and a three into one exhaust as shown in the pictures it is possible to fit this item and retain the rear footrests - you simply need to carefully measure out and drill two additional holes - the footrest can then be clamped on top of the undertray very easily with no further modification.
Fitting with Rear Passenger Grab Rail
Once again the item has been designed for sitment without the rear grabrail however .. It is also possible to fit this item with Triumph's optional rear grab rail - you will need to spend some time marking up and cutting the carbon (easily done with a Dremmel tool or similar) around the light area
Please note we have fitted this item to a bike with both grab rail and footrests after making some modifications.
Fitting with twin standard Exhausts
We have not fitted this item with the twin exhaust set-up so cannot confirm that it is possible, however we see no reason why it should not fit without some modification - remember - Carbon is an organic compound and can easily be cut, drilled and sanded to enable you to modify it.
This is a specially produced item which has taken many weeks to perfect - fitting is straightforward but it is not a 5 minute job - allow at least an hour ....
